Product of the Month: The midocean drinkware used to promote global consultancy Kearney's rebrand

Every month at Jack Nadel International, we take some time to showcase a particular product that has really impressed across the JNI family. We use this opportunity not just to promote a new product, but also to draw attention to the fantastic work being done by some of our amazing vendors and clients.
This month, we are going to take a closer look at the stainless-steel sports bottle we made for Kearney to coincide with their exciting new rebrand. Kearney is a global management consulting firm with a vibrant digital presence and a dynamic portfolio. In addition to this, they do a lot of work to positively impact the communities around them. Kearney asked us to make something useful and stylish and the double-walled stainless-steel sports bottle, complete with bamboo cap, fit the description perfectly. It’s made from sustainable materials and retains a premium feel, meaning it will be used over and over again.
Kearney has offices in more than 40 different countries with a network of thousands of diverse and talented individuals. They are trusted advisors to the world's foremost organisations and strive for positive social impact. This is one of the many reasons we wanted to provide a smart bottle that really caught the eye in a stylish and subtle way. It’s also why we went with something from the midocean drinkware collection.
The promotional merchandising industry is fundamentally collaborative. The needs of our clients influence the way we operate, which in turn influences the way our vendors, such as midocean, operate. When we work together, achieving sustainability becomes a much easier and more cost-effective strategy.
The midocean sports bottle
midocean are committed to waste reduction and sustainability. Additionally, a key feature of their strategy is to support their own vendors in using sustainably sourced and ethically produced materials in the construction of their products.
Drinkware is quickly becoming an extremely popular merchandising tool. Not only are these sports bottles extremely useful and eco-friendly in regard to staying hydrated, they are also good at bringing to life some of the best aspects of the office in the comfort of your own home. We know that many people miss the buzz of the office and we hope branded bottles can give them a positive memory of a fantastic company.
The branded sports bottle we made for Kearney did exactly that. We absolutely love working with companies that take their brand seriously and we have made a sleek, attractive bottle to go with the rest of their new look.
As for the sports bottle itself, it comes in 5 gorgeous colour tones: matt silver, red, blue, white, and black. It is made from double-walled stainless steel and the cap of the bottle is made from bamboo, a sustainable material. It is designed for longevity and has a premium feel which is so important when it comes to a bottle for life.
A few weeks ago, we published our CSR report for 2019. In that report, we outlined our commitment to keep striving towards a more sustainable and ethical world. This commitment applies to our operations within the JNI offices and across the supply line.
We were so pleased to learn that midocean, the vendor of August’s product of the month, is a participant to amfori’s Code of Conduct. This Code of Conduct outlines the participants' commitment to fight against discrimination, modern slavery, child labour, environmental degradation, precarious employment, and many other issues faced by the modern citizen.
Being part of amfori is a commitment towards protecting workers’ rights and the rights of all stakeholders who are interested in ethical business practices. In addition to its own compliance, midocean encourages its own suppliers to become participants to the amfori Code of Conduct.
